last day of genesis

so here it is, the last day of genesis (i leave for NC tomorrow)

it went by so insanely fast

in the past month i have:
- had the most amazing drama class ever
- learned how to move creatively
- suffered and recovered from a UTI and kidney infection
- had many dance parties
- met someone from a different program who was in my 8th grade religious school class (and who i had a crush on)
- saw taming of the shrew in the boston common
- gotten to know all 72 or so members of the program (at least by name)
- been recorded laughing and doing animal farm noises by ilana huz
- probably not slept enough
- discovered and rediscovered my identity
- explored injustice
- endured crazy storms as well as crazy heat
- discovered my jewish identity better
- IMed the person sitting next to me
- done way more things than i can list here
- had an awesome time

and now it is time to say goodbye. i will miss everyone at genesis. you all have impacted me, and i really do love you.

well, waltham actually

i am at brandeis university for the genesis program...good jewish fun

before i got here 2 days ago, i was visiting boston some more with my mom and i have cemented the fact that tufts university is AMAZING and boston the city is like no other. LOVE IT.

okay so the program. my roomate is awesome. the people are awesome. some are like super super jewish, but its aight. there are 15 boys and 57 girls...yeah..in any case, my course is theatre which is AWESOME, and my workshop is creative movement which is..unique..its basically like how you would dance in your room to weird,cultural music and just flail about...my friend avi said if he could design a course for me it would be that.haha. okay so that is the gist of things, and i might give a detailed account later. might.

prom was basically amazing

not necessarily the actual prom, but the people i was with and the things that occurred in conjunction with prom was just..amazing...

and i cant believe we pulled the fucking stunt off...it was stealth and a half

and next weekend, should everything work out, will be pretty damn great too :)

because i guess i am technically a senior now..or at least i have obtained senior priveleges...which ive gotta admit is pretty sweet

on a downer: though ap's are over and school loads should be lightening, the teachers have decided to bombard us with projects and papers. woop-dee-freaking-doo.

sleeping sickness is fading, but continues to make life hard. and i guess im officially done with volleyball for the rest of the club season so i can focus on my health and school, as suggested by the parentals and doctor.

i FINALLY found a prom dress!!! after many MANY hours of searching!!! i am so relieved and happy, and i love it!!!!!!

lets hope i have the same amount of success with the event tomorrow, my tournament sunday, and my APs next week.....

-FINALLY on spring break

-i have a love-hate relationship with volleyball....and right now its more of the latter

-social justice kallah was amah-zing, as are all NFTY events...but it left me INSANELY tired and a little sick again

-seeing ashley and kim sunday night was much needed...i love my girlies

-lucky number slevin was really good

-i am able, and even encouraged to wear tall shoes, as my boyfriend is 6'8", so i now want to go find me some more pairs of some cute tall shoes

-i also have a love-hate relationship with my parents...i dont think we are capable of going a day without arguing :(

-todays bonding with lisa is very exciting and should be mucho fun

-it has now officially been 1 month and 1 day of being with eric

-in 1 day less than a month AP's will be over...but until then i will have no life (after spring break)

-the best part: eric comes home today. around mid afternoon. so i get to see him before AND after volleyball!! EEEEEEKKKKK!!!!!!

therefore i took the SAT this morning : the single most thrilling event of my life. I will cry if i have to take it a 3rd time to be satisfied. but at least its over.

also, i am volunteering at the special olympics. how rewarding.

so, thanks to my mother, i have fucked up feet

and according to the podiatrist, in addition to wearing orthotics,ill need to get srugery to rectify the situation...and relatively soon

im pretty sure the first round of surgery will be this coming fall, hopefully sometime in the week before school starts..woohoo....at least ill still be able to be normal around the time of homecoming and ill be able to play club volleyball if everything goes according to plan

but on the bright side, then my left foot at least will be more normal, and since it will be done to my left foot, ill still be able to drive during the 6 week healing process....and eric said hed be by my side taking care of me after surgery :)

but ill keep everyone posted on the situation...ill find out for sure in a few weeks whats going down...

i dont know why im such a medical disaster...it really kindof sucks...

first id like to start by saying that finals and the SAT need to die a painful death...and im insanely happy that both are done with...

second, the basketball game friday night was intense. kevin keiser is a trooper, let me tell you.

third, last night was intense...who knew dinner could be so interesting?? downtown never ceases to amaze me...

fourth, the new DMV rule is severely fucked up. oh well. its not like anyone is gonna obey it.

this past week has been, in a word, interesting

i got back home today around 2pm

i tell you, it is pretty damn sweet to be home

i do love my family (all million of them) and travelling and such, but theres nothing like being back home

especially when theres a lot waiting for me....

i cannot wait for this week and new years
